History- Bosch Ltd was incorporated in the year 1951 with the name Motor Industries Company Ltd. Initially, the group stepped into India with establishment of Calcutta office. In the year 1953 to 1956, the company initiated their manufacturing at Bangalore Plant with manufacture of spark plugs, single-cylinder diesel fuel injection pumps, nozzle-holders and multi-cylinder diesel fuel injection pumps. The company changed their name from Motor Industries Company Ltd to Bosch Ltd.
